For years now Ernie Canning has been carving and creating for the pleasure of his friends and family. Recently retired, Ernie and his wife Danna have packed up the Ontario woodshed and have moved it to Nova Scotia. Ernie has found new inspiration and is creating more than ever so we have hauled him out of the woodshed to share some of his unique creations with the masses. Although most of his creations are made of wood Ernie has experimented with stone,clay and most recently metal. Ernie's inspirations have come from all corners of Canadian culture, from the beauty of our wildlife to our native heritage. Ernie manages to capture it all with his unique vision and sense of humor.
